Which vehicles need a Class 5 MOT test?

Class 5 MOT tests are for larger passenger vehicles such as:

What is checked in a Class 5 MOT test?

• axles, wheels, and tyres – including wheel bearings, tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), and suspension
• interior – seats, warning lamps, switches, and view to the front
• brakes – the entire braking system is checked
• steering
• the doors, mirrors, and horn
• the speedometer and driver controls
