Does my vehicle need an MOT test?

Your car definitely does. You are legally required to take your car for a MOT test once a year if it is three years old or older, or if it is an ambulance, taxi, or minibus that is more than one year old. This is done to ensure that the minimum safety standards are met by every vehicle on the roads.

Which vehicles do you test at Connolly Motors?

We have a large, modern testing facility on Hardman Street which can cater for large vehicles up to 3,500 kg which means that we can offer MOT testing for Classes 4, 5 and 7. What happens if my vehicle fails its MOT test?

Connolly Motors can carry out any repairs that are necessary and can retest your vehicle here. You have 10 days to have the repairs done and the vehicle retested.
