Established in 1996 and with Danny at the helm since 2016, Connolly Motors has become one of the most well-respected and popular independent garages in Stockport.

We have a large, modern workshop on Hardman Street, near the town centre and inside we have 10 service ramps, including a dedicated MOT bay, each one equipped with the latest automotive tools and machinery including BMW/VAG dealer diagnostics and a Bluetooth Pro Wheel Alignment machine. We work on all makes and models, big jobs and small – we’re just as happy repairing a puncture as tuning or even, rebuilding an engine.

We’re really proud of the technicians that we work with at Connolly Motors; they’re a great team of problem-solvers, often finding and fixing issues that other garages can’t. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently provide unbeatably high standards of workmanship. We believe that ongoing training is vital – even the very best mechanic can learn and improve – and all our technicians are qualified, F-Gas regulated, and trained up to at least IMI Level 3 to work on electric vehicles.

Providing exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything that we do and we want to make the whole car repair experience as stress-free as possible. We’ve plenty of customer parking and a pleasant reception area with Netflix on TV, free WiFi, and refreshments where you’re welcome to relax while we work on your vehicle.

We understand that it’s not always easy getting to the garage and then possibly being without your car for a couple of days, so we are pleased to offer a car collection and delivery service within a 10-mile radius of the workshop and have 2 courtesy cars available for customers to borrow. And importantly, we know how stressful it can be covering repair costs so we are pleased to be able to offer our customers the option of spreading repair bills over four, interest-free monthly payments.
